CUSTOM ORDERS: All Light Cookie products are custom orders, as we do not stock products--we make everything to order. Once placed, custom orders cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded. If you have small tweaks or edits, we may be able to accommodate them, depending on where we are in the production process.
TRADE PROGRAM: We offer discounts for those who work in the design and decoration industry. When placing an order or requesting a quote please attach your business info.
LIGHT BULBS: We do not include light bulbs with any of our orders but we will to the best of our ability assist you in sourcing the appropriate bulb(s).
RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Our lighting is not factory-made. We are a small family business. All of our fixtures are made one piece at a time by hand. The hand-crafted nature of our product does lend itself to minor imperfections and small inconsistencies in finishes do occur. However, if you are dissatisfied with the quality of your piece, please notify us within 10 business days of delivery so that we can work with you to determine an appropriate and timely solution.
Please open and inspect your lighting as soon as possible after delivery--items that have been in your possession for over 15 days are not eligible for replacement consideration.
SHIPPING DAMAGE: In the event of shipping damage, it is imperative that you inform us immediately so that we may begin an insurance claim and work to get a new product out to you. Please retain ALL boxes and packing material, as they will be needed for the insurance claim. We will not issue a refund or replacement products for shipping damage that is reported after the 15-day claim window.
UL CERTIFICATION: Our products are not UL listed.
LEAD TIMES: We don't believe you should wait months and months for your custom lighting--our lead time is typically 2-3 weeks, but we can turn pieces around in as little as 1-2 weeks when needed. Please let us know if you have a rush requirement or a particular installation date that needs to be met. We will do our absolute best to accommodate rush orders.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We wire our fixtures in order to work in any country in the world. Please let us know if you have any special requirements like canopy sizes to cover your junction box.
All of our pieces are hardwired unless otherwise requested. We are happy to build any of our products with a cord and plug, unfortunately, we don't have plugs from other countries.
For our worldwide customers we give 2 choices :
a) we can make the light as a plug-in with an EU plug and they can use an adapter
b) we can make the light as a plug-in and we leave the cable loose in the end so they can connect a plug from their local market.
We are also able to add a toggle switch to the backplate of any of our wall lamps and sconces. Please let us know what you need!
HANDLING + INSTALLATION: We strongly advise that you use a licensed electrician to install hardwired fixtures. We strongly suggest only using LED bulbs dimmable or not.We do not supply screws or screw anchors with our products since every application is different (plaster,false ceiling,concrete,wood etc)
CUSTOMIZATIONS: All of our products are fully customizable in terms of dimensions within shipping restrictions and our fabrication abilities (except for our marinal series that sizes are fixed).You can also choose your color codes and metal finishes from here
